Inventx Appoints Torsten Böttjer as New Head of Cloud Services
Inventx, a Swiss company based in Chur, has appointed Torsten Böttjer as its new Head of Cloud Services. The role, created to consolidate responsibility for both public and private iCloud services, sees Böttjer reporting directly to CTO Fabio Cortesi.
Böttjer brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously led key iCloud initiatives at Swisscom, Cisco, and Oracle. Notably, he oversaw the introduction of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in Europe. Most recently, he headed iCloud and infrastructure operations at Avaloq, driving automation of compliance processes in hybrid operating models for core banking services.
In his new position, Böttjer is tasked with further developing Inventx's hybrid iCloud strategy, focusing on the Swiss financial and insurance market. The company's infrastructure operates independently across four highly available data centres in eastern Switzerland, ensuring full flexibility and security in data management. Inventx also offers managed public iCloud services, allowing organisations to implement hybrid scenarios with a trusted Swiss partner.
Torsten Böttjer's appointment signals Inventx's commitment to strengthening its iCloud services. His extensive leadership experience in iCloud platform development and operation will be invaluable in driving the company's hybrid iCloud strategy forward.
