International Astana Forum to Resume in 2025 Following One-Year Pause
KICKSTARTING THE ASTANA INTERNATIONAL FORUM AGAIN!
🏛️ After a year-long hiatus, the Astana International Forum is gearing up for a comeback in 2025! The suspension in 2024 was due to some hefty financial obstacles resulting from unexpected flooding incidents. But fear not, the energy's back, and the event's set to take place in May!
📜 Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has officially signed the organization's green light, and high-ranking officials are leading the charge in preparations. Kazakhstan's top brass will form the organizing committee, with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy steering the ship to guarantee a seamless execution.
🔔 Last year, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made the tough call to scrap the forum due to the country's catastrophic flooding and the subsequent need to redirect finances towards recovery and assistance for the citizens.
In the lead-up to the Astana International Forum's resumption in 2025, various aspects are under consideration, including the financial aspect as part of the general-news and business matters. Following the suspension in 2024 due to flood-related financial difficulties, a pivotal role in the forum's preparation is being played by Kazakhstan's high-ranking officials, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy, thereby underscoring the significance of finance in politics and business.
