The Beijing Auto Show has once again proven to be a platform for automotive innovation, with Roewe, a Chinese automaker known for its diverse product range, unveiling its latest creation, the 007 SUV.

The 007 SUV boasts a 2.4-liter patrol engine, delivering 105kw at 4800 and 217nm at 3000-4000. However, it's important to note that the unveiled model is not yet ready for production.

As for the price, estimates suggest that the base model of the 007 SUV could cost around 100,000.

Interestingly, while the exterior of the 007 SUV was on display, staff members at Roewe did not allow photography of the interior, hinting that it is still under development. After photographers took shots of the interior during the show, staff members locked the doors one by one, further confirming this.

In a separate development, the interior of the upcoming coupe Arcfox Alpha S5 was exposed, providing a glimpse into the future of Roewe's interior design trends.

The 007 SUV, with its dimensions of 4595x1828x1804 and a wheelbase of 2600, is a substantial vehicle. Meanwhile, the lighter 2WD version weighs 1655 kg, while the heavier 4WD version tips the scales at 1790 kg.

Elsewhere, the BAIC brand has made headlines with the new BAIC Beijing BJ30 SUV being spotted on the road. The BAIC BJ60, launched in China, comes equipped with a 4WD, 267 HP, and a starting price of 33,500 USD.

While the 007 SUV continues to be refined, it's clear that Roewe is committed to pushing the boundaries of automotive design and technology. Stay tuned for further updates on the 007 SUV's progress.
