India InsurTech Association Gets Major Boost with Xceedance as Principal Sponsor
The India InsurTech Association (IIA) has secured a significant boost with Xceedance stepping in as its principal sponsor. This move is set to accelerate digital transformation in India's insurance industry.
IIA, co-founded by Shwetank Verma, Subhajit Mandal, and Prerak Sethi, has been championing digital innovation in the Indian insurance sector. The association has already formed a strategic alliance with the Fintech Association of Japan, fostering global collaboration in the InsurTech ecosystem.
Prerak Sethi, Director and Co-founder of IIA, welcomed Xceedance's sponsorship, stating that it comes at a crucial time for achieving IIA's core objectives. Xceedance, a global insurance technology provider, sees this sponsorship as part of its commitment to driving global insurance transformation.
IIA has been actively expanding its international network, establishing alliances with other insurtech associations worldwide. Its Annual Report 2021, titled 'India Insurtech Landscape and Trends', was released in collaboration with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
Arun Balakrishnan, CEO at Xceedance, praised IIA's efforts in promoting innovative solutions, liaising with regulators, and fostering start-up collaboration. IIA's key agenda for 2022 includes expanding its membership community, which currently stands at 32 insurtech members.
With Xceedance's principal sponsorship, IIA is poised to further its mission of driving digital transformation in India's insurance industry. This collaboration is expected to strengthen IIA's initiatives in promoting innovative solutions, international collaboration, and regulatory engagement.
