Iglo Germany Appoints Volker Büttel as Managing Director
Beginning April 1, 2025, Volker Büttel (51) will take over as Managing Director of iglo Germany and assume responsibility for the national company's operations. He will report to Markus Fahrnberger-Schweizer, General Manager of Nomad Foods DACH. The previous Managing Director, Philipp Kluck, vacated his position at the end of 2024.
Büttel boasts a wealth of experience in the food and beverage sector, having served as Managing Director of subsidiary companies Hawesta GmbH, Rügen Fisch GmbH, and Ostsee Fisch GmbH under Thai Union Deutschland since 2022. Prior to this, he held a board position for marketing and sales at Hansa-Heemann AG, Germany's third-largest non-alcoholic beverage manufacturer.
