Get ready for a thought-provoking gathering! The National Information Technology Agency (NITA) has partnered with the Institute of IT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH) to host an enlightening event on Monday, 19th December 2022, at the Kofi Annan Centre for Excellence (KACE) from 8:30am to 2pm.
Under the spotlight is the controversial subject of "Regulating ICT Businesses and Practitioners in Ghana: Opportunities and Challenges." The discussion aims to delve into the nitty-gritty of NITA's regulatory functions, exploring the myriad opportunities and potential hurdles that may arise in the process.
Keen to set the tone for the day, the Minister of Communications and Digitalisation (MOCD), Mrs. Ursula Owusu Ekuful will grace the occasion with a rousing keynote address. Notable figures from the ICT industry such as Hon. Sam George, member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram and a member of the Communications Committee, Dr. Felicia Engmann - Senior lecturer, GIMPA School of Technology, and Dr. Collins Yeboah-Afari, Director General, Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence will join a panel discussion.
Joining them will be Mr. Carl Sackey, CEO, CS Consulting and Services Ltd, Mr. Ebo Richardson, Chief Projects Officer, Equity Group, and Mr. David Gowu - Executive Director, Institute of IT Professionals Ghana.
