Hue House Opens as a Vibrant Cultural Hub for the Asian Diaspora in Midtown
A new four-storey cultural hub called Hue House has opened in Midtown, designed as a celebration of Asian heritage. The space brings together food, wellness, nightlife, and creative programming under one roof. Named after the Chinese character 回 (huí), it embodies themes of flow, return, and continuity—reflecting the founders’ vision of a welcoming home for the Asian diaspora.
The project is the brainchild of the team behind popular spots 929 and Gulp ¿Qué?. Their latest venture transforms a Midtown building into a dynamic destination, with each floor offering a distinct experience. On the ground level, Gulp ¿Qué? serves Taiwanese street food, including railway bento boxes, beef noodle soup, and bubble tea.
Hue House aims to be more than just a venue—it’s designed as a second home for the Asian diaspora. Visitors can grab a bento, meet for cocktails, explore AAPI brands, or book wellness sessions. The hub’s layered experiences reflect a commitment to celebrating Asian identity in a space that evolves with its community.
