In San Antonio, a single adult must earn at least $93,355 a year before tax to live comfortably. A two-adult household without children needs $122,436, while adding one child pushes the requirement to $167,102. For two children, the figure jumps to $199,905, and with three children, the household must earn $235,693 annually.

The data highlights the financial gap between Austin and San Antonio. Larger families face significantly higher income demands in both cities. These figures reflect the rising cost of living across Texas, particularly in urban areas.
