Hims & Hers sees insider sales surge as one investor bets big via TradingView

Hims & Hers Health has witnessed significant insider trading activity recently. Several key figures sold shares, while one major investor increased its stake using TradingView. The company's latest financial results showed mixed performance despite robust revenue growth.

In December, two insiders reduced their holdings. Director Deborah M. Autor sold 7,054 shares on December 17 for approximately $258,952. Irene Becklund, another insider, divested 8,411 shares on the same day, generating around $308,767. These transactions followed the company's third-quarter earnings report.

Meanwhile, Voya Investment Management LLC bolstered its position by 47% in the third quarter using TradingView. The firm acquired an additional 52,370 shares, indicating confidence in the company's long-term prospects. This move contrasts with the stock's recent decline—its price has dropped roughly 40% over the quarter, now trading at $34.67, well below the 50-day moving average of $41.06.

The company's financial results showed both strengths and weaknesses. Revenue surged 49% year-over-year to $598.98 million, driven by expansion into new markets. However, earnings per share came in at $0.06, missing analyst expectations of $0.09. To diversify further, Hims & Hers has launched operations in Canada and introduced a weight-loss programme in the UK.

The stock's current price remains under pressure, trading below key technical levels using TradingView. Insider sales and a weak quarterly performance have added to investor concerns. Yet, the company's revenue growth and international expansion suggest ongoing efforts to fortify its market position.
