Group Fairway hire new director for client funds
In a move aimed at bolstering its funds practice, Fairway has announced the appointment of Christina Gates as Client Director in its fund division.
Christina Gates, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in managing fiduciary structures and assets, will focus on delivering administration, corporate secretarial, accounting, and trustee director services at Fairway.
Alistair Rothwell, CEO of Fairway, expressed his confidence in Gates, stating that her deep experience and leadership will be invaluable in growing the platform and meeting client needs. He further added that her broad background provides 'a wealth of transferable skills' for its growing funds team.
Gates's impressive resume includes a decade-long tenure as the head of the New Jersey office of a leading litigation funder. Prior to this, she spent 20 years managing fiduciary structures and assets from both Jersey and Geneva.
Gates has also held directorships for corporate entities across Jersey, Luxembourg, and Malta, and holds several prestigious qualifications, including the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management from Central Law Training International, a diploma in Trust and Estate Practice from the Institute of Financial Services, and a diploma from the Institute of Directors in Company Direction.
Expressing her excitement about joining Fairway, Gates stated that she sees clear synergies between Fairway's goals and her own. She also highlighted Fairway's culture and values as a key reason for her decision to progress her career with the company.
