Grevenbroich Retailers Get Free Workshops to Modernize Their Businesses
Local retailers in Grevenbroich are invited to a free workshop series designed to boost their businesses. The event, hosted by the Grevenbroich Economic Development and City Marketing Agency (GFWS), will kick off on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Retail expert Frank Rehme will lead the sessions, focusing on innovation and digital strategies for brick-and-mortar stores.
The kickoff evening, titled Practical Workshops for Retail, will take place at 6:30 PM at Fräuleinswunder, Zünftestraße 10. Rehme, managing director of gmvteam GmbH and host of The Future of Shopping podcast, will outline four key themes: Business Models & Target Audiences, Product Range & Merchandising, Customer Loyalty & Communication, and Artificial Intelligence in Daily Operations.
Rehme, a former innovation manager at METRO Group, has spent years developing hands-on solutions for retailers. His approach involves understanding the specific challenges faced by local shops to tailor the workshops effectively. He also co-founded the zukunft des Einkaufens (Future of Shopping) platform and has led projects in omnichannel retail, in-store tech, and customer experience. The workshops themselves are free to attend. Interested retailers can register by sending an informal email to [email protected].
The series aims to provide practical tools for retailers adapting to digital and market changes. Rehme’s expertise in retail innovation will guide participants through modern strategies. The first session on January 20 marks the start of a structured programme to support Grevenbroich’s local businesses.
