Global Ordnance Unveils Monolith Semi-Automatic Carbine

Global Ordnance, a veteran-owned business, is set to ship the Monolith semi-automatic carbine. This rifle, produced and licensed by Foxtrot Mike Products Inc., has been developed since 2018 and is now ready for distribution. The Monolith stands out with its unique features and robust construction.

The Monolith is a direct-impingement, gas-operated rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem. Its most striking feature is the monolithic barrel, machined from a single piece of 41v50 ordnance-grade steel. This barrel, with a 1:7 twist bore, incorporates the barrel extension, gas block, and a Dead Air Silencers KeyMo combination muzzle brake and sound suppressor mount.

The rifle's ambidextrous controls include the bolt catch, magazine release, and safety selector switch. It also boasts a folding charging handle that can be reversed from left to right. The Monolith uses a bufferless recoil system, allowing it to fire even with the stock folded. The folding stock itself has a two-position cheek rest and seven-position adjustments for length.

Crafted with durability in mind, the Monolith has a 9310-alloy steel bolt and 4342-alloy steel bolt carriers, both true vacuum hardened by Thermal Modification Technologies (TMT) and treated with a black oxide finish. It comes with an AR-15 type single-stage fire control group featuring a straight, flat-faced trigger.

The Monolith, with its innovative design and robust construction, is set to make an impact in the market. Global Ordnance, with its experience in importing and distributing firearms and support gear since 2013, is ready to start shipping this unique rifle. The Monolith's ambidextrous controls, bufferless recoil system, and monolithic barrel make it a versatile and reliable choice for shooters.
