Global consulting firm Bain & Company broadens its Performance Improvement leadership, aiming to propel cutting-edge innovation and drive client expansion on a global scale.
In a significant move, global management consulting firm Bain & Company announced leadership changes within its Performance Improvement (PI) practice on September 18, 2025.
The PI practice, renowned for its expertise in shaping large-scale business transformations, will be co-led by senior partners Caperton Flood and Simon Henderson. Based in New York and London respectively, they bring over 58 years of combined experience in advanced manufacturing, energy and natural resources, and performance improvement.
Caperton Flood, with 25 years of experience, will focus on shaping the practice's strategy and growth, while Simon Henderson, with over three decades of expertise, will lead client engagements.
The practice will also see new regional leaders. Kevin Meehan and Jason Heinrich will serve as co-Regional Capability Leaders (co-RCLs) of Bain's Americas PI practice, based in Austin. Marco D'Avino and Jörg Gnamm will take on the same role for Bain's EMEA PI practice, based in Rome and Singapore respectively.
Fritz Jaeger will join Jason Heinrich in serving as the Practice's co-Global Solutions Lead (co-GSL) for Accelerated Performance Transformation (APT), based in Singapore. This role will see Jaeger driving the implementation of the practice's APT capability, addressing end-to-end operations, corporate support functions, and overall corporate transformations.
Bain's PI practice has consistently delivered impressive results for its clients, with an average return on investment of 17 times. This success has earned the practice multiple industry honors, including being named a "Leader" during Gartner's 2024 Magic Quadrant for Finance Transformation Strategy Consulting assessment and during IDC's 2023-2024 Worldwide Operations Improvement Consulting Services vendor assessment.
