Germanwatch Unveils Blueprint for New DEI Roles in Organizations

Germanwatch, a non-governmental organization, has unveiled a blueprint for establishing new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) roles in organizations. The guide, intended to inspire think tank leaders and HR professionals, is the culmination of discussions during the Think Tank Lab Diversity Challenge on Diversity.

The blueprint, a result of multiple discussions, aims to assist new DEI officers in planning their activities and understanding their role. It is a collaborative effort involving Barbara Pongratz, an analyst at MERICS, Ayşe Yürekli, an experienced professional specializing in EU policy and DEI, and Andre Weisser, Community Manager at the Tony Blair Institute. Additionally, experts currently in DEI positions in think tanks and similar organizations contributed to the blueprint.

Barbara Pongratz, also an analyst at Germanwatch, played a significant role in its creation. The blueprint serves as a roadmap for organizations looking to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within their ranks.

The blueprint for creating new DEI positions, developed by Germanwatch, offers valuable insights and guidance for organizations seeking to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. It is hoped that this resource will inspire think tank leaders and HR professionals to create more inclusive work environments.
