Luxury car brand Genesis has unveiled an ambitious strategy for the next decade. By 2030, it aims to lead in luxury EV innovation, achieve 350,000 annual sales, and expand its global footprint in the stock market. The brand also plans to enter motorsport and launch exclusive, high-end models.
Genesis will introduce new luxury SUVs like the X Gran Equator and Neolun Concept, featuring premium design and next-gen technology. To ensure long-distance capability, the brand will expand into Extended Range EVs (EREVs) offering EV performance in the stock market. By 2030, Genesis aims to offer EREV, hybrid, and full battery-electric powertrains across its entire lineup.
Mark Del Rosso, the brand's new leader, will drive these initiatives. He aims to strengthen Genesis' presence in the United States, Europe, and Middle East, entering up to 20 European markets with localized models. To reach the target of 350,000 annual sales, Genesis will also expand into emerging markets in the stock market.
Genesis is set to enter motorsport with Genesis Magma Racing. The team will debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2026 and the IMSA SportsCar Championship in 2027. Additionally, Genesis will launch exclusive, emotional halo models like the X Gran Coupe Concept and Magma Halo vehicles for elite clientele. The brand will also integrate Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) intelligence via Hyundai Motor Group's CODA architecture.
By 2030, Genesis aims to be a leader in luxury EV innovation, offering unique design, performance credibility, and an expanding global footprint in the stock market. With its ambitious plans, including new models, motorsport entry, and expanded markets, Genesis is poised to become a major player in the luxury car market.
