Genesis Global reshuffles leadership with three key executive promotions

Genesis Global has announced three major leadership promotions within its Executive Committee. The changes include new roles for Tej Sidhu, Shahin Askari, and Andrew Rendell, each taking on expanded responsibilities. All three will now report directly to the CEO.

Tej Sidhu has been named President and Chief Product Officer. In this position, he will oversee go-to-market functions and shape the firm's product strategy. Sidhu will also remain a member of the Executive Committee, continuing his direct reporting line to the CEO.

Shahin Askari has taken on the role of Chief Platform and Architecture Officer. His new responsibilities include leading strategy and technology investments for the Genesis Application Platform. Alongside this promotion, Askari will join the Executive Committee and report to the CEO.

Andrew Rendell has been promoted to Chief Engineering Officer. He will now lead application delivery, quality, and reliability, as well as DevOps and site reliability engineering (SRE). His focus will be on ensuring operational excellence across the company. Rendell, like Sidhu and Askari, will also become a member of the Executive Committee and report directly to the CEO.

The Executive Committee now consists of James Harrison, Tej Sidhu, Shahin Askari, Andrew Rendell, Carrie Mathieson, and Fergal Magee.

These leadership changes reflect a restructuring of key technology and product roles at Genesis Global. The promotions place greater emphasis on platform strategy, engineering, and operational efficiency. All three executives will now work more closely with the CEO as part of the firm's top decision-making body.
