GCCA Launches Net Zero Value Chain Partners to Accelerate Construction Decarbonization

The Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) has introduced a new membership category, Net Zero Value Chain Partners (NZVCP), aiming to bolster collaboration across the building and construction sector. This move is part of the GCCA's drive to hasten the industry's transition to net-zero emissions.

The NZVCP initiative encourages companies to work directly with GCCA's 50 member producers, fostering innovation and knowledge-sharing. Eligible partners span various sectors, including equipment suppliers, admixture companies, providers of industrial infrastructure for carbon capture, utilization, and storage, and other solution developers.

The first companies to embrace this new membership category are CDE, KHD, Master Builders Solutions, Saint-Gobain, Schneider Electric, and Sinoma International. These pioneers have committed to supporting GCCA's mission to reduce the industry's environmental footprint.

The GCCA's Net Zero Value Chain Partners program marks a significant step in extending the association's reach beyond cement and concrete producers. By welcoming organizations involved in construction and decarbonization efforts, the GCCA strengthens its position in driving the industry towards a more sustainable future.
