Fronius Expands EV Charging in Spain for Sustainable Future

Austrian solar energy innovator Fronius is expanding its electric vehicle charging solutions in Spain, aiming to promote clean energy and electromobility for a sustainable future. The company, with over 60,000 photovoltaic installations in Spain, is well-positioned to integrate its technology into the country's renewable energy landscape.

Fronius offers the Fronius Wattpilot for intelligent charging of electric cars, supporting alternating current powers from 11 to 22 kilowatts. This technology, set to be introduced in Spain by 2024, is designed to adapt to the country's specific needs, thanks to collaborations with local partners like energy companies and charging infrastructure providers.

The company has already launched fleet management software for electric vehicles linked to self-consumption in Austria and Germany. In Spain, Fronius aims to connect charging points and self-consumption facilities, providing comprehensive management and control via the Solar.Wattpilot app. Consumer education is a key focus for Fronius, aiming to help users achieve economic and energy savings.

Fronius is committed to Spain's renewable energy future, with plans to expand its electric vehicle charging solutions by 2024. By connecting charging points and self-consumption facilities, and educating consumers, Fronius seeks to foster a more sustainable and efficient electric vehicle charging ecosystem in Spain.
