Financial executive at Domino's UK stepping down amidst efforts to halt company's sliding sales trend
Domino's Pizza Group Announces New CFO and Chick-fil-A-Style Fried Chicken Menu
Domino's Pizza Group has made a double announcement, unveiling a new fried chicken menu inspired by Chick-fil-A and appointing a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Andrew Andrea, a seasoned finance professional, will take on the role of CFO, starting on March 16, 2026. Andrea brings nearly 22 years of experience to Domino's, having served as the Chief Financial and Transformation Officer at C&C Group plc. Prior to this, he spent 12 years as CFO and even a stint as CEO at Marston’s plc. His expertise includes mergers, acquisitions, and franchise operations.
This change comes as the company's current CFO, Edward Jamieson, steps down after three years with the company. Jamieson's departure is by mutual agreement. Lynn Fordham, currently a board member, will take on a new role as special adviser to the board as Domino's embarks on a period of accelerated activity.
The new CFO's arrival coincides with the launch of a new fried chicken menu, inspired by Chick-fil-A, which the company sees as a significant opportunity for growth.
Investors will be briefed on Domino's progress in early November, including updates on the third quarter, the loyalty scheme, digital progress, store openings, and other strategic priorities.
Unfortunately, the group's UK master franchise has seen its value fall by a third since the start of the year. This decline is attributed to weaker consumer demand and higher costs.
Domino's expects to report full year earnings before nasties of £130million to £140million. In the interim, Richard Snow, former Ladbrokes CFO, will take over as interim CFO while Andrea works his notice period.
Andrea's extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions is expected to be valuable in accelerating the delivery of Domino's growth strategy, according to Ian Bull, Domino's chair.
An investor event is scheduled for 9 December, providing another opportunity for investors to gain insights into the company's future plans.
