Families with multiple children, particularly mothers, have been granted approximately 200 billion Tenge in funding.

State allowances for large families and honored mothers in Kazakhstan have supported over 853,6 thousand individuals in 2025, amounting to 201.9 billion tenge.

Specifically, 611,5 thousand families received allowances for large families, totaling 176 billion tenge. Concurrently, 242 thousand individuals received allowances for honored mothers, equating to 25.9 billion tenge.

In April 2025, these beneficiaries numbered 860,1 thousand individuals, with the state allocating 51 billion tenge. The figures for large families amounted to 44.5 billion tenge, while honored mothers received 6.5 billion tenge.

To be eligible for large family allowances, families must have at least four minor children or students under the age of 23 who are enrolled full-time. Eligibility is not contingent on income.

The amount of the allowance for large families fluctuates depending on the number of children and was as follows in 2025: 16,03 MCI or 63,030 tenge for 4 children, 20,04 MCI or 78,798 tenge for 5 children, 24,05 MCI or 94,565 tenge for 6 children, 28,06 MCI or 110,332 tenge for 7 children, and 4 MCI or 15,728 tenge per child for 8 or more children.

Honored mother allowances are granted to mothers who have received specific awards, such as the "Altyn alqa", "Kumis alqa" pendants, the "Mother Heroine" title, or the "Mother's Glory" orders of the first and second degree. monthly allowances are 6,40 MCI or 25,165 tenge for "Kumis alqa" recipients and 7,40 MCI or 29,097 tenge for "Altyn alqa" recipients, "Mother Heroine" title holders, or recipients of the "Mother's Glory" orders of the first and second degree.

All state social allowances for families with children experienced a 6.5% increase as of January 1, 2025.

In light of the state social allowances increase by 6.5% as of January 1, 2025, the total amount allocated for large families and honored mothers combined reached 227.9 billion tenge in 2025. Personal-finance management for these families could be significantly improved due to the increased allowances in business sectors, such as housing, education, and healthcare.
