Candice C. Wong has joined the ranks of Fried Frank as a white-collar litigation partner in its Washington, D.C. office. Wong brings nearly a decade of experience as a federal prosecutor to her new role, having served in senior positions at the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.

Before joining Fried Frank, Wong held the position of chief of the violence reduction and trafficking offenses section at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. Prior to that, she served in the criminal division of the DOJ. During her tenure as a federal prosecutor, Wong brought 28 cases to verdict and presented multiple appeals before appellate courts.

Geoffrey Berman, partner, global chair of Fried Frank's litigation department, and head of the white-collar defense, regulatory enforcement, and investigations practice, commented on Wong's appointment, saying, "We are committed to expanding our litigation bench strength and depth, and Candice's substantial experience, particularly her trial experience, will be of immense value to our clients as they navigate high-stakes white-collar matters and complex civil litigation."
