EURAZ Corporation is set to be officially recorded in Lower Tagil.
Denis Novozhenov, the vice-president and head of the Ural division of PAO "EVRAZ", has highlighted several key components that cities should have to retain and attract young people. According to him, these include comfortable living conditions, well-developed social infrastructure, good educational institutions, attractive job opportunities, and the availability of cultural and recreational activities. These factors collectively contribute to creating an environment where young people want to live, work, and grow their futures.
In a significant move, PAO "EVRAZ" is set to be registered in the Urals, specifically in Nizhny Tagil. This decision, announced by the regional governor, Denis Pasler, is expected to strengthen the city's economic potential for years to come. Two subsidiaries, Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Combine and West Siberian Metallurgical Combine, will enter PAO "EVRAZ".
The focus on Nizhny Tagil suggests continued investment and support for the city. The co-owner of PAO "EVRAZ" is billionaire Roman Abramovich. The company is planning to tidy up its structure before presenting to investors on the Moscow Exchange. However, it is unlikely that any entities from the Western block will be included in the new PAO "EVRAZ" package.
Around 60 legal entities will be united under PAO "EVRAZ", retaining their names and continuing their activities as subsidiaries. The exact nature of the complications regarding the Western block is not specified. The company will transfer taxes to the regional budget, and it is involved in supporting local educational, cultural, healthcare, sports, and territorial improvement initiatives.
Denis Novozhenov mentioned that Nizhny Tagil is the second largest city out of 47 in the Sverdlovsk region. He emphasised the city's potential, stating that it has all the necessary components to retain and attract young people. The company's decision to register in Nizhny Tagil is not affected by the uncertainty regarding the inclusion of all legal entities.
This move by PAO "EVRAZ" underscores its commitment to the region and its cities, particularly Nizhny Tagil. As the company prepares for its presentation to investors, it is clear that it is not only focused on its industrial operations but also on the social and economic development of the cities in which it operates.
- The decision by PAO "EVRAZ" to register in Nizhny Tagil, a city known for its potential to retain and attract young people, suggests a substantial investment in the manufacturing industry of the region.
- The company's involvement in supporting local educational, cultural, healthcare, sports, and territorial improvement initiatives indicates a broader focus on the finance and business sector, aiming to enhance the overall well-being of the city.
- Considering PAO "EVRAZ" owns and operates several subsidiaries, including those in the sports sector like West Siberian Metallurgical Combine, it is evident that the company aims for a balanced growth in both the industrial and recreational aspects of the city.
