ENTICE 3.0 Launches to Fund Clean Energy Innovators Worldwide
A new initiative called ENTICE 3.0 has launched to support energy innovators in developing smarter and cleaner systems. Backed by the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, the programme offers funding, technical grants, and real-world deployment opportunities with major energy providers. The programme is part of the Global Energy Alliance’s mission to bring clean electricity to 1 billion people by 2030. It focuses on two key areas: non-lithium energy storage solutions for managing local peak demand and AI-driven platforms to improve grid demand forecasting.
Successful applicants will receive up to $100,000 in technical assistance grants. They may also gain funding consideration from investment partners. Deployment opportunities are available with BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) and Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL). ENTICE 3.0 is supported by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under its Startup India initiative. A high-profile jury, including Govind Iyer and Alok Kumar, will evaluate the entries. The goal is to empower innovators in building more resilient energy systems.
The programme provides both financial support and practical deployment channels for energy startups. By focusing on storage and AI solutions, it aims to accelerate the shift toward cleaner and more efficient power grids. Winners will also benefit from industry partnerships and expert guidance.
