Road Shutdown at Russelsheim Triangle During Night Hours - Enforced Curfew within Rüsselsheim Triangle Area

On the nights of **July 3rd and 4th, 2025**, there will be a closure on the A60 at the Rüsselsheim Interchange from Mainz to Frankfurt. The closure will take place from **9:00 PM to 5:00 AM** each night, as announced by Autobahn GmbH.

During this period, traffic from Mainz to Frankfurt on the A60 will be **detoured via the A67**. Motorists will be redirected at the Rüsselsheim Interchange to the A67 southbound. From the A67, drivers will continue toward the Mönchhof-Dreieck, then take the A3 northbound toward Frankfurt. Clear detour signs will be posted to guide drivers through this alternate route.

The closure will affect the on-ramp at the Rüsselsheim Interchange from Mainz to Frankfurt, which will be closed from Tuesday evening at 10 PM. After the closure, traffic will flow over two new bridge structures. Initially, traffic on the new bridge structures will flow in a single lane.

Motorists are advised to plan their trips accordingly and allow for extra travel time during these nighttime closures. The Rüsselsheim Interchange ramp from Mainz to Frankfurt will reopen on Wednesday morning at 6 AM, and traffic will no longer be detoured via the A67. Instead, the detour route for motorists will involve the A67 via the Groß-Gerau interchange.

After the closure, traffic will flow smoothly over the newly constructed ramp, and the new ramp constructed at the Rüsselsheim Interchange will be used by traffic. The closure is necessary for the safety and efficiency of the road network and is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements.

The community policy, in this city, should address the potential traffic disruptions due to the July 3rd and 4th, 2025 nighttime closure on the A60 at the Rüsselsheim Interchange. This incident impacts the employment policy, as truck drivers, construction workers, and other commuters may face difficulties reaching their places of employment. To further add, the transportation sector, particularly public-transit and automotive industries, might experience delays during this period due to the closure.
