Electric Golf Carts equipped with WiTricity technology for wireless charging announced at Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

At this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, WiTricity is set to showcase its innovative wireless charging technology. The company will be exhibiting at Booth #6801 in the West Hall, where they will display a South Korean OEM's vehicle, equipped with their magnetic resonance technology, and a WiTricity-upgraded Ford Mach-E.

For the first time, Hyundai will be equipped with WiTricity's wireless charging technology. This marks an exciting expansion for WiTricity as they continue to work with new OEMs, aiming to provide wireless charging for more drivers worldwide, as stated by WiTricity CEO Alex Gruzen.

In addition to electric vehicles, WiTricity will also unveil its wireless charging solution for golf cars and neighborhood electric vehicles. This solution includes the WiTricity Halo™ Receiver, which can be mounted in the vehicle either at the factory or as a dealer-installed option, and the WiTricity Halo™ Power Hub, which plugs into an ordinary household outlet. The company plans to make this solution commercially available starting in the summer of 2024.

Key launch partners for the wireless charging solution for golf cars will be announced at CES. WiTricity's wireless charging technology has already been implemented on numerous passenger vehicles around the world, making it a popular choice for automakers.

Global demand for wireless charging for electric vehicles continues to grow, according to WiTricity CEO Alex Gruzen. Consumers have shown a strong interest in wireless charging for electric vehicles of all sizes, and the company is eager to meet this demand. With the WiTricity Halo™ wireless EV charging system, vehicles can charge hassle-free by parking over the WiTricity Halo™ Charger.

WiTricity previously launched its FastTrack Integration Program for automotive OEMs, which allows for an initial vehicle integration in just three months. This program has proven to be successful, and the company is confident that it will continue to streamline the integration process for new partners.

A South Korean automaker will also utilize WiTricity's wireless charging solution for an upcoming new vehicle. This partnership is expected to further solidify WiTricity's position as a leader in the wireless charging industry.

Visitors to CES 2023 are encouraged to stop by WiTricity's booth to learn more about their wireless charging solutions and see the latest innovations in action.
