EB-SIM Financial Advisor Initiates Consultation with the Board

Sustainable Investment Management (EB-SIM) has formed an advisory board to guide the development of its investment process and sustainability guidelines. The panel, which meets twice a year, consists of six EB-SIM and EB executives and six external representatives.

The external members of the advisory board include Thomas Pfeiffer, Managing Director of the North German Church Provident Fund for Pastors and Church Officials, Prof. Dr. Christian Klein, Professor for Sustainable Finance at the University of Kassel, Yvonne Zwick, Chairwoman of the Network for Sustainable Business B.A.U.M. e.V., Dr. Pascal Gantenbein, Professor for Financial Management at the University of Basel and Vice President of the Board of Directors Raiffeisen Switzerland, and Hans-Dieter Kettwig, former Managing Director and current consultant of wind turbine manufacturer Enercon.

Klaus Bernshausen, a member of the Evangelical Pension Fund in Darmstadt, will chair the expert panel. Oliver Pfeil, Speaker of the Management Board and Chief Investment Officer of EB-SIM, will serve as the deputy of the expert panel.

The advisory board will address regulatory, technical, and competitive questions, provide advice on EB-SIM's product offerings, including public and closed funds, and support the development of sustainability guidelines for illiquid asset categories such as tangible assets, private equity, and real estate.

The advisory board's insights will influence the advancement of EB-SIM's sustainability filter and bring in new scientific findings for portfolio management. While specific names and functions for EB-SIM’s external advisory board could not be confirmed in the current publicly available materials, it is known that Johannes Justinger, Director Investment Strategy at EB-SIM, is responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation, especially in sustainable infrastructure.

For more precise information about the external advisory board members and their roles, it may be necessary to consult official company publications, announcements, or direct contact with EB-SIM.
