DWP confirms £10 Christmas bonus for millions on benefits

Millions of people on benefits will receive an extra £10 payment before Christmas. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed the annual bonus will be issued to eligible claimants in early December.

The £10 Christmas bonus will be paid automatically into the usual benefit payment account. The qualifying week runs from December 1 to December 8 this year.

The £10 payment will arrive within the first seven days of December. It will provide a small financial boost to eligible claimants ahead of the festive season. No action is required, as the bonus will be processed automatically for those who qualify.
