Doctor stopped at entry with Botox and Hyaluron - Doctor detained at Stuttgart Airport with suspicious Botox and hyaluronic acid haul
A 42-year-old physician was detained at Stuttgart Airport after arriving from Istanbul with a large supply of Botox and hyaluronic acid. Customs and federal police officers stopped the doctor, who initially claimed to be visiting Germany as a tourist. The quantity of seized substances raised suspicions about their intended use.
The incident began when the doctor landed at Stuttgart Airport on a flight from Istanbul. During a routine check, officers discovered 45 items in the physician's luggage, including a significant amount of Botox and hyaluronic acid preparations. The volume of these products suggested they were not meant for personal use alone.
When questioned, the doctor stated the trip was for tourism. However, authorities remained unconvinced by this explanation. As a result, they refused the individual entry into Germany and initiated criminal proceedings.
No further details have been released regarding the doctor's actions following the entry refusal or the ongoing investigation.
The case has been handed over to prosecutors for further examination. The seized substances will remain in custody while the investigation continues. Authorities have not yet disclosed any additional information about the doctor's background or the origin of the products.
