Dhaka University and Healthcare Chemicals Limited unite for pharmaceutical innovation

A new partnership has been formed between Dhaka University’s Faculty of Pharmacy and Healthcare Chemicals Limited. The two organisations signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen ties between academia and industry. The agreement was finalised at the dean’s office on Wednesday.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of several department chairpersons and professors from the faculty. Dean Professor Md Selim Reza represented the university, while Managing Director Md Halimuzzaman signed on behalf of Healthcare Chemicals Limited.

Under the MoU, both parties will collaborate on joint research projects and training programmes. They will also share information and data related to innovation and technology. The exact date when discussions began remains undisclosed, but the agreement marks a formal step toward closer cooperation.

The partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application. Joint activities will focus on advancing pharmaceutical knowledge and practical training. The MoU sets a framework for ongoing collaboration between the two institutions.
