Forbes' Wordle #1370 Hints, Clues, and Answer for March 20th, 2025
It's finally Friday, and we're diving headfirst into the first weekend of spring! This winter was a peculiar one, yet not exactly a bad one. I'm someone who struggles with seasonal depression, and the relatively sunny, dry, and warm winter we had this year was somewhat of a blessing. The forests are still a worry, but my mental forests are in good shape. Cheers!
It's also 2XP Friday, so double the wins and losses, Wordle buddies. Let's conquer today's Wordle!

Wordle Analysis
I used WordleBot to help with my Wordle analysis. Check out WordleBot here.
My Wordle game wasn't stellar today. I'm not quite sure where CLEAT came from, as I usually avoid sports-related words. My guess suggests I should stick to this strategy. 435 words remained, and the only green letter was an 'E.' SHORE cut the number down to 23 (the number worn by Michael Jordan - yep, sports again!), and it turned my green 'E' into a yellow. Still, I had mostly grey boxes. My next guess managed to win me the game, despite an accidental repeat of the 'R.' BRING only provided two more yellow boxes, but it left me with just one option: NUDGE for the victory!
Competitive Wordle Score
I earned 0 points for guessing in four and -1 for losing to the Bot. The Bot bagged 1 point for guessing in three and another for beating me. That's -2 for me thanks to 2XP Friday, and 4 points for the Bot, bridging our monthly score gap, but I remain my usual competitive self.
My March Running Total: 17 points.
Wordle Bot's Running Total: 8 points.

Today's Wordle Etymology
"Nudge" was likely coined in the late 17th century, with its origins uncertain. It may be related to the Scandinavian word "nugga," meaning to push or poke gently, or from Middle English dialectal forms meaning to jostle or prod. Despite the unclear etymology, "nudge" has always carried the connotation of a gentle push or nudge, be it literal or figurative.
