Munich City Sparkasse, the largest Bavarian Sparkasse and one of the four largest in Germany, is expanding its Private Banking division with 16 new positions. The search is on for a Lawyer (m/f/d) in Generation and Foundation Management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice related to banking and financial services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, drafting and reviewing contracts, managing legal risks associated with private banking transactions, and supporting the bank in litigation and regulatory matters. This role also involves advising on estate settlements and foundation mandates, developing strategies for the regulation and optimization of succession planning, and maintaining and building an external partner network with tax advisors, lawyers, notaries, etc.
To be considered for the role, candidates must have completed their studies as a Full Lawyer (m/f/d) and have knowledge of inheritance law and experience in the execution of estate settlements. The ideal candidate should possess negotiation skills, empathy, communication skills, sales and acquisition strength, a structured and detailed working style, flexibility, responsibility, and teamwork. Fluency in German and English is often necessary due to international aspects of private banking.
