From September 27th to 30th, there will be significant changes to the public transportation system in your area due to the Power Weekend. Here's what you need to know:

Tram Lines 4 and N4 Disruptions

During the Power Weekend, tram lines 4 and N4 at the Leibnizplatz Theater junction will be affected. Here's what you can expect:

  • Tram N4 (night line) will not serve the usual stop at Leibnizplatz Theater junction during the event nights. Night bus services will be provided as a substitute.

Bus Replacement Services

Construction Details

Continuous work will be carried out from Friday, September 27th at 9 PM to Monday morning, September 30th at 3 AM during the Power Weekend. The transfer between tram and replacement service will take place at the Gastfeldstraße stop (platforms C and D).

Throughout the entire construction period, the Rotes-Kreuz-Krankenhaus will be accessible via a short, signposted detour. For the most precise details including exact bus stop locations and timetables, it is recommended to check closer to the event date with the local public transportation authority's updates.

Please plan your journey accordingly and allow extra time for travel during the Power Weekend. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

  • The Power Weekend will cause disruptions not only in public-transit tram lines 4 and N4, but also in the broader transportation system, affecting the industry and finance sectors of the region as people might need to adjust their schedules or find alternative modes of transport.
  • The finance sector could experience a temporary slowdown due to the impact of the Power Weekend on transportation, as employees might encounter delays and challenges in commuting and thus arriving late for work, potentially affecting productivity.
