Construction of highways to Tirma and Alanal will commence in the Verkhnebore district.

In the far-eastern region of Khabarovsk Krai, move-making has kicked off for a brand-new route to the outlying villages of Tyrma and Alana. Situated on the railway line "Izvestkovaya - Novy Urgal", these hamlets are the last in the Verkhnebureinsky District without regular automobile contact, with residents reliant on trains to reach the district center.

Alexei Maslov, the district's administration head, decided to conduct a personal odyssey by driving himself to Tyrma, a trek of 307 km that took almost 9 hours one way! Yikes! 🚗🕒

Fortunately, with the planned addition of a second track on the railway line linking the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Baikal-Amur Mainline, a technical road from Tyrma to the federal highway "Amur" is set to be built. This upgrade would grant the citizens of Verkhnebureinsky District a much quicker means to reach Khabarovsk by their own vehicles. 🚀🚗

Worth mentioning, this year will see the completion of the "Chegdomyn - Komsomolsk-on-Amur" highway. Prior to the end of last year, we reported on the achievement of residents in the Verkhnebureinsky District gaining the possibility of reaching the highway "Khabarovsk - Chita" via their own vehicles after the completion of the bridge over the Tuyun River on the border with the Amur Region.

The automotive industry might benefit from the upcoming project, as the construction of a technical road from Tyrma to the federal highway "Amur" will facilitate the movement of personal vehicles in the Verkhnebureinsky District. A closer relationship between the district and Khabarovsk could also be bolster through enhancement in the finance sector, provided the transportation industry successfully integrates the new road into the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Baikal-Amur Mainline network.
