Construction and maintenance work on the B 49 highway, stretching from the connecting mine forests to the Kleinlinden exit.
Road Closure on Bundesstraße 49 between Bergwerkswald Junction and Kleinlinden Exit
Beginning this Friday, March 15, at approximately 8 pm, a section of the Bundesstraße 49 will be closed for repairs. The affected area is located at the Bergwerkswald junction and the exit to Kleinlinden.
The repairs, scheduled to take place over the weekend, will affect traffic in the direction of Wetzlar. To facilitate the diversion of traffic, motorists will be rerouted via the A 485 and A 45 to the Wetzlar-Ost junction.
Hessen Mobil, the road construction authority of the state of Hesse, is responsible for the repair works on the federal road. The repairs are being conducted to renew approximately 1375 square meters of asphalt due to damage on the road.
The road section between Bergwerkswald Junction and the Exit to Kleinlinden will remain closed throughout the weekend. The closure is expected to end on Monday, March 18, around 5 am.
