Consolidated budget revenues in Kuban region reached a total of 270 billion rubles.
In a significant boost for the region's economy, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev of Krasnodar Krai announced a 7.6% increase in tax and non-tax revenues for the first half of 2025. This rise can be attributed to a series of administrative and economic efforts aimed at improving the region's financial standing.
One of the key factors contributing to this growth is an extensive system-wide work on revenue improvement across various regions, including Krasnodar Krai. This initiative involves administrative improvements and better documentation practices for assets, which help increase the tax base.
Another significant factor is the large-scale real estate registration programme led by federal agencies and supported regionally. Over 3.5 million objects have been registered so far, with over five million objects covered in total. This registration allows property owners to properly document housing and land plots, facilitating economic development, investment, loan acquisition, and ultimately raising tax income.
The overall economic growth in Krasnodar Krai, supported by rehabilitation of housing and infrastructure, has also driven increased economic activity. This stimulates demand for goods and services, boosting enterprise development and tax inflows.
Furthermore, the increase in revenues benefits from federal programs supporting regional development, including infrastructure projects and social services improvements. For example, funding aimed at improving transportation and public services indirectly supports economic activity and tax base expansion.
The simplified tax system in the region showed an increase of 105.9%, and the region also experienced positive dynamics in excises (115%) and personal income tax (115.5%). The consolidated budget of Krasnodar Krai has received 270 billion rubles in own revenues since the beginning of the year.
The press service of the krai administration reported that the rise in tax and non-tax revenues reflects the combined effects of better asset registration and the coordinated work of all regional structures and active cooperation with entrepreneurs. The highest growth, over 30%, was observed in the Tbiilissky, Beloglinksky, Seversky, Kanevsky, Apcheronsky, Tikhoretsky, and Bryukhovetsky districts, as well as in Gelendzhik.
Governor Kondratyev noted that the budget's filling allows them to continue developing the region and make life in Kuban even more comfortable. In 18 municipal formations, the growth in revenues ranged from 110% to 130%, and 35 out of 44 municipalities in the krai showed an increase in their own revenues above the level of the previous year.
This positive trend demonstrates the effectiveness of the measures taken to improve the financial health of Krasnodar Krai, setting a strong foundation for continued economic growth and development in the region.
The extensive system-wide work on revenue improvement across various regions, including Krasnodar Krai, is a crucial factor and is rooted in administrative improvements and better documentation practices for assets, which significantly contribute to business growth and increase the tax base in the finance industry.
In addition, the large-scale real estate registration programme, facilitated by federal agencies and supported regionally, allows property owners to properly document housing and land plots, thereby encouraging investment, loan acquisition, and raising tax income, essentially promoting business development and industry expansion.
