Commercial Aerospace Sector Set for 25% Boost in 2026 Deliveries

The global commercial aerospace sector is gearing up for a robust 2026, with a 25% boost in aircraft deliveries and sustained aftermarket demand expected in 2025. Executives are optimistic, with 92% anticipating suppliers to meet or exceed delivery expectations within the next year.

Regionally, Europe is set to maintain a 6% revenue growth, bolstered by Airbus's delivery plans. North America, on the other hand, is projected to see its strongest revenue growth in two decades, with a 17% increase. Asia-Pacific is forecast to expand by around 10%, driven by strong passenger traffic and investment in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.

Looking ahead, executives aim to embed long-term resilience into supply chains. They plan to do this by implementing digital twins, AI, and fostering collaborative supplier partnerships. In the short term, MRO spending is expected to increase by 14% year-over-year in 2025, thanks to a record backlog of 17,000 jets and labor shortages.

Companies like C.H. Robinson and Aramex are at the forefront of using generative AI in logistics and supply chains. C.H. Robinson uses AI to enhance decision-making and efficiency, while Aramex leverages cloud-based integration to streamline its global logistics infrastructure.

Executives are shifting their focus from short-term stabilization to mid-term stability. They are building flexibility through diversification, regional hubs, and inventory buffers. Despite concerns about tariffs and geopolitical issues, 92% of executives are confident in meeting 12-month delivery targets, indicating a positive supply chain sentiment.
