CNY Diaper Bank starts holiday match to aid families
The CNY Diaper Bank is urging the community to support families struggling with diaper costs this holiday season. Nearly half of local households find it difficult to afford this essential item for their children.
The charity has launched a fundraising drive to meet rising demand. Donations will help provide diapers to families in need across the region.
To boost contributions, the Jim and Julie Foundation has pledged to match every gift up to $5,000. This offer applies to all donations made before the new year. Organisers hope the matching funds will encourage more people to give. The extra support comes at a critical time, as winter expenses place added pressure on low-income households.
The campaign aims to ease financial stress for parents during the holidays. With matched donations, the bank can distribute twice as many diapers to families in need. Contributions will be accepted until the end of December.
