CNRS Unveils Comprehensive Digital Accessibility Plan for 2025-2027

The CNRS, France's national centre for scientific research, has unveiled a comprehensive digital accessibility plan. Spanning from 2025 to 2027, this plan aligns with the General Reference Framework for Improving Accessibility (RGAA) and is supported by annual action plans, with the 2025 plan already in place.

The CNRS' dedication to accessibility is evident in its commitment to Article 47 of Law No. 2005-102. This law mandates that public online communication services are accessible to all. The multi-year plan is a strategic roadmap towards this goal. It breaks down the journey into manageable annual steps, starting with the 2025 action plan.

Notably, the CNRS is the first institution to publish a digital accessibility action plan covering the 2025 to 2027 period. This proactive approach sets a precedent for other institutions to follow.

The CNRS' multi-year digital accessibility plan, accompanied by the 2025 action plan, demonstrates a strong commitment to inclusivity. By ensuring its online public communication services are accessible, the CNRS is paving the way for other institutions to follow suit, setting a high standard for digital accessibility.
