In a recent comparison by the German comparison portal Verivox, Berlin has emerged as one of the cities with the fewest traffic offenses in Germany. Drivers in the capital city collect 27 percent fewer points than the national average, placing Berlin near the bottom in traffic offenses.

On the other hand, Cologne has 58 percent more traffic offenders than the average, making it one of the cities with the most traffic offenses. North Rhine-Westphalia, the state where Cologne is located, also has 15 percent more traffic offenders than the average.

The analysis was based on anonymized data from concluded insurance contracts regarding existing points in Flensburg. Only the traffic points of drivers in Flensburg were compared, and it was found that Honda drivers had 28 percent fewer traffic points than the average. This places Honda drivers among the least traffic offending drivers in Flensburg.

However, Tesla drivers had more traffic points than the average, with a 37 percent increase in points compared to the average. Porsche drivers had the most traffic points among the compared brands, with a staggering 65 percent increase in points compared to the average.

Bremen and Lower Saxony also had fewer traffic offenders than the average, with 32 percent and 3 percent fewer offenders respectively. Saxony, on the other hand, had 10 percent more traffic offenders than the average. Baden-Württemberg had 1 percent more traffic offenders than the average.

It is important to note that the comparison did not include all brands of cars, and no specific reason was given for the differences in traffic points among the brands. The traffic points of drivers in other cities were not analyzed in this study.

These findings provide valuable insights into the traffic behavior of different cities and car brands in Germany. It is hoped that this information will encourage safer driving habits and reduce the number of traffic offenses in the country.
