Car manufacturer Audi India launches ten-year extended warranty and a fifteen-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) scheme.

Audi India has introduced two comprehensive initiatives aimed at enhancing the luxury ownership experience and boosting customer satisfaction. The automaker has launched an extended warranty program and an upgraded Roadside Assistance (RSA) program, setting new standards for after-sales services in the country.

Extended Warranty Program

Audi India’s 10-year extended warranty program covers all manufacturing defects for up to 10 years from the vehicle’s date of sale or up to 200,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. Customers can purchase this extended warranty either at the time of buying a new car or anytime before the current warranty expires. Additionally, they have the option to extend coverage by 1 or 2 years beyond the standard warranty period. This program is valid across Audi’s entire model range and applies to both new and existing customers in India.

Upgraded Roadside Assistance Program

The 15-year roadside assistance program offers 24/7 emergency support throughout India on national highways, state highways, and other motorable roads. The program features a wide range of services, including emergency breakdown support, towing after breakdowns or accidents, on-the-spot assistance for minor mechanical or electrical issues, battery boost, fuel delivery, tyre support, lockout assistance, and coverage for alternate travel or hotel accommodation if repairs are prolonged.

Audi has integrated digital enhancements into the RSA program, such as a process to embed service requests via a WhatsApp conversation and follow-up notifications every 30 minutes until the issue is resolved. The program is available to both new and existing customers, with flexible upgrade options based on vehicle age and current warranty status. Pricing for roadside assistance ranges between ₹3,999 and ₹8,000, depending on the vehicle age and coverage duration chosen.

In cases taking over 72 hours for repairs and the vehicle is more than 100 km from the owner's home base, the program includes accommodation or travel assistance. The scope of assistance under the RSA program includes towing services, fuel delivery, battery jump-start, tyre repair or replacement support, spare key delivery, and lockout assistance.

The upgraded RSA program provides 24/7 emergency support across Indian national and state highways, as well as other roads within the mainland.
