Canucks 50/50 raffle backs BC kids through Sedin Family Foundation tonight

Tonight's Vancouver Canucks 50/50 raffle will raise funds for the Sedin Family Foundation. The initiative supports children's health, education, and family wellness across British Columbia. Half of the final jackpot will go to a lucky winner, while the rest will fund local projects.

The raffle is a joint effort between the Canucks for Kids Fund and the Sedin Family Foundation. Over the years, their partnership has invested more than $450,000 in BC communities. The Canucks for Kids Fund alone has donated over $115 million to provincial charities in the past four decades.

Fans can buy tickets online at vancouvercanucks5050.com until the end of the second intermission. Prices range from $10 for five tickets to $100 for 500. Only BC residents aged 19 and older can participate. Last year's proceeds helped fund school food programs and essential supplies for families in northern BC. The Sedin Family Foundation typically focuses on youth hockey initiatives, such as equipment donations and skill camps. However, no specific projects in Surrey, Vancouver, or Victoria have been publicly recorded between 2024 and 2026. The foundation works closely with schools, community groups, and social service agencies. Together, they identify local needs and direct funding where it's most needed.

Tonight's raffle offers a chance to win half the jackpot while supporting BC families. The remaining funds will go toward health, education, and wellness programs. Tickets remain available online until the second intermission ends.
