BYD Extends Major EV Discounts in Germany Through 2026

Following the launch of its "E-Bonus" discount scheme in the first quarter of 2026, Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has extended the promotion in Germany through June 30, 2026. This means customers in Germany will continue to benefit from special terms across the brand's entire model range for the next three months.

BYD currently offers eight all-electric vehicles and three plug-in hybrids in Germany. The automaker highlights the Dolphin Surf city car, which—after applying the E-Bonus and maximum German government incentives—remains available from just €12,990.

Other standout models include the compact Atto 2 DM-i plug-in hybrid SUV, starting at €22,990, and the seven-seater Tang flagship SUV, where customers can save up to €21,010.

Beyond these, BYD's German lineup features additional SUVs, SUV-coupés, and sedans. Thanks to the ongoing promotion, all models continue to be offered with substantial discounts.

"Over the past three months, our E-Bonus has driven exceptionally high demand," says Patrick Schulz, Commercial Director and Deputy Country Manager of BYD Germany. "Retailers have consistently reported positive feedback: interest in the BYD brand has surged, and showrooms are seeing heavy foot traffic. This response has reinforced our decision to extend the E-Bonus."
