Buses are being redirected on Bierstadter Straat

On August 11th, the B455 route will alter at lines 21 and 22, utilizing 'Plutoweg' as the new stop instead of the previous detour. Passengers can then access the standard 'Plutoweg' stop for lines 17, 23, and 24 via a pedestrian path on Bierstadter Straße.

In the heart of Wiesbaden, a unique traffic trial is set to take place in August 2025, particularly around the Rheinufer Biebrich area. This trial, which includes selected weekends, will have significant implications for some bus lines.

During this trial, bus lines 9 and 14 will be rerouted as per ESWE-Verkehr's plans. Noteworthy changes include the temporary closure of bus stops such as "Schloß Biebrich". However, lines 3, 4, and 39 will remain unaffected.

A notable exception to the traffic-free zone will be bicycle traffic, which will be allowed in the area in front of Biebrich Palace. General motorised traffic, including buses and trucks, will be prohibited during the trial. Access for residents, delivery, and care services will be maintained via specific routes, but the public will not have access there during trial times.

Line 37 will undergo a detour during this trial. After the "Zieglerstraße" stop, it will divert via Patrickstraße and B455. Following the detour, line 37 will return to its regular route via Moltkering, serving the "Alwinenstraße" stop again. The replacement stop "Hans-Bredow-Straße" in New-York-Straße will be served by line 37 during this period.

For those seeking alternative options, the stops "Fichtestraße", "Wartestraße", and "Plutoweg" will not be served by line 37 during construction. However, trips towards Bierstadt remain unaffected for lines 37, 17, 23, 24, and N11.

The nearest boarding and alighting options for lines 17, 23, 24, and N11 will be at the "Wartestraße", "Hildastraße", and "Alwinenstraße" stops. Passengers can also board buses heading out of town to reach the unaffected stops "Fichtestraße", "Wartestraße", and "Plutoweg".
