Bus Route No 12's path in Almaty has been adjusted.

Nope, this ain't your grandpa's bus route anymore, y'all!

Starting March 6, bus route No. 12 is getting a major upgrade, extending all the way to the "Almaty-2" railway station, y'all! Here's the lowdown on the new route: it'll take passengers from the ski complex, make a left onto Abai Avenue, then keep on cruisin' down Abay Khan Avenue to the "Almaty-2" station. On the return journey, it'll hang a right onto Kurmangazy Street, and then continue on its existing path. Exciting, ain't it?

Previously, the route started at the "Kazakhstan" hotel, but that's all in the past now, y'all! With the extension, overcrowding might become a thing of the past too, especially on weekends when everyone's racing to catch a ride. Almaty residents have been hollering about the need for more vehicles on this route for ages, but none of that seemed to matter.

Now, why the change? The Almaty Akimat is keeping tight-lipped about that, y'all. Our folks reached out to 'em, but they weren't being chatty, so we can't give you the inside scoop just yet. Maybe it's about improving accessibility, enhancing connectivity, or adjusting traffic patterns, but we don't have the skinny on that, y'all! Until we hear more from the horse's mouth, keep your eyes peeled on local transportation news. That's the word on the street, y'all!

Industry insiders speculate that the extension of bus route No. 12 could have implications for both public-transit finance and transportation in the city. This major upgrade might attract more investments from the industry due to increased ridership and revenue potential. Additionally, the extended route could lead to improved connections between various forms of transportation, such as buses and trains, fostering a more seamless commuting experience for the public.
