25 Years in the Trade - Master Craftsmen Honored in Potsdam - Brandenburg Honors 100 Master Craftsmen for 25 Years of Dedication

Nearly 100 master craftsmen and craftswomen from Brandenburg received their Silver Master Certificates in Potsdam's Schinkelhalle. Chamber President Robert Wüst praised their 25 years of dedication, highlighting their exceptional skill, responsibility, and commitment to improvement.

These craftspeople, representing 19 trades, passed their examinations before the Potsdam Chamber of Skilled Crafts in the year 2000. Most honorees are local artisans who originally trained in regions like Oberhavel, Havelland, and Brandenburg an der Havel. They now work as business owners or skilled professionals in western Brandenburg, with around 220 still active today.

Economy Minister Daniel Keller emphasized the vital role of skilled trades in Brandenburg's economic development. He noted their contribution to securing a skilled workforce for the region.

The Silver Master Craftsmen and Craftswomen, primarily from Teltow-Fläming, Potsdam-Mittelmark, and Prignitz, were honoured for their exceptional dedication and skill. Their work continues to play a crucial role in Brandenburg's economy and workforce.
