BPMG quietly integrates web3 into popular games without disrupting gameplay

No crypto jargon, no forced changes—just familiar games with hidden web3 perks. Can BPMG's subtle approach win over skeptical players?

The image shows a group of people sitting around a table playing a game of Jenga. On the table there are wooden blocks and a bucket, and in the background there are many tables and chairs with people sitting on them. There are also lights on the ceiling, suggesting that the game is taking place in a room.

BPMG is bringing web3 features to its existing games without changing their core experience. The company plans to add blockchain layers to titles like Cooking Adventure and Tales Runner, which already have large player bases. This move aims to blend web3 benefits with familiar gameplay rather than launching entirely new crypto-focused titles. The integration will use a multi-chain setup, including networks like Base and LayerZero. These will support onboarding, cross-chain transactions, and player rewards. The goal is to keep the blockchain layer subtle, ensuring it doesn’t disrupt how players currently enjoy the games.

Rewards, in-game transactions, and player activity will run on the POPLUS platform and its GHUB token. BPMG wants the web3 elements to feel natural, avoiding the need for players to engage directly with crypto mechanics. By working with established titles, the company also sidesteps the 'cold start' problem that many new blockchain games face. The approach focuses on adding value rather than overhauling existing gameplay. If successful, it could serve as a blueprint for other studios looking to transition web2 games into web3 environments.

BPMG’s strategy centres on gradual integration, using existing player communities to ease the shift. The multi-chain setup and GHUB token will power rewards and transactions while keeping the experience smooth. The outcome may influence how other developers approach web3 adoption in gaming.
