In a move that signals a creative and unconventional approach to the sponsorship market, the gaming provider STS has officially become a new sponsor of Polish football club Borussia Dortmund. This partnership, announced on 27th August 2024 and updated on 29th August 2024, marks the first step in STS's ambitions to expand its market share in the European online gaming market.

The agreement grants STS exclusive advertising rights in Poland, allowing the company to use the club's logo and images of BVB players for various advertising campaigns. This partnership is expected to strengthen STS's presence on the European online gaming market, as well as increase its visibility.

Paweł Sikora, STS Head of PR & Sponsorship, made a statement in relation to the agreement, expressing excitement about the collaboration and its potential to provide special content and regular updates about BVB for the club's fans in Poland on STS's platform.

Carsten Cramer, CEO of BVB, also commented on the partnership, welcoming STS to the BVB family and expressing confidence in the mutual benefits that this partnership will bring.

The partnership officially begins with the farewell match of BVB legends Jakub Błaszczykowski and Łukasz Piszczek on September 7th at 19:00 CET in the Signal-Iduna-Park. Błaszczykowski and Piszczek were important pillars of the team during the successful era of Jürgen Klopp (2008 - 2015) and were in the starting lineup of the BVB team in the 2013 Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

Through this partnership, STS plans to offer many attractions for BVB fans in Poland, including the visibility of the STS logo on the LED boards at the Signal-Iduna-Park during all BVB home matches broadcast live in Poland.

This new sponsorship agreement between STS and Borussia Dortmund is more than just a business deal. It's a great start to a cooperation that promises to bring excitement and entertainment to both the world of online gaming and football fans in Poland.
