Binance resolves HODLer airdrop problem, boosting PLUME's share price by 2.6%

In a recent development, cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced the resolution of the PLUME listing and airdrop event postponement, following complaints and technical difficulties that arose earlier.

The listing for PLUME, the native token of an EVM-compatible blockchain, was originally scheduled for August 18, 2025. However, due to identified issues affecting participation eligibility and overall user experience, the listing was postponed. Binance has since rectified the problem, ensuring eligible users - those holding BNB in Simple Earn or on-chain yield farming products during a snapshot period in late July 2025 - eventually received their portion of the 150 million PLUME tokens.

Following the resolution, Binance resumed the PLUME listing as planned on August 18. The token’s price recovered by 2.6% to about $0.1006 after initial volatility linked to the airdrop delays. Binance emphasized transparent communication and technical improvements to facilitate smooth execution and maintain user trust after the disruption.

Analysts noted the market moved back into consolidation with normalized RSI, signaling cautious optimism despite the earlier hurdles. The RSI, or Relative Strength Index, had spiked above 70, indicating overbought conditions, before crashing back down to around 54 and sliding further toward 45, reflecting weakening bullish momentum triggered by the Binance listing delay.

Interestingly, the price of PLUME rose about 10% after the initial listing announcement. However, it's worth noting that the peak trading price of PLUME was $0.1076, and it currently sits at around $0.1006.

In summary, although the PLUME airdrop was postponed due to user complaints and technical difficulties, Binance has resolved the issues promptly, completed the airdrop distribution, and proceeded with the listing, stabilizing both user sentiment and the token’s market performance. The cryptocurrency market continues to display resilience, as demonstrated by the quick recovery of the PLUME token.
