Best Western GB Adds Seven New Properties, Set to Beat 2020 Record

Best Western GB is celebrating record-breaking business growth and is poised to surpass its previous record in 2020. The company has also announced a significant expansion with the addition of seven new properties from Corus Hotels, marking its first World Hotel activations outside of London since acquiring the brand in 2018.

The seven Corus Hotels, owned by the MUI Group, will bring a unique touch to Best Western GB's portfolio. Each hotel offers a distinctive experience, from award-winning dining to spacious event facilities. The partnership includes two Laura Ashley properties: The Iliffe in Coventry and The Belsfield in Bowness-on-Windermere. Additionally, five more Corus properties will join the group, ranging from The Hyde Park Hotel in London to The St James Hotel in Grimsby.

Mark Stanley, Head of Hotel Development at Best Western GB, expressed his excitement about the Corus and Laura Ashley agreement, hailing it as a strong start to 2020. Meanwhile, King Loy, Chief Executive of Corus Hotels, is delighted about the partnership, expecting wider market coverage and enhanced guest experience.
