"Beltamojservis unveils new logistics center"
The logistics center Minsk-Beltamozhservis-2, managed by RUP "Beltamozhservis", has undergone a significant expansion in Belarus, making it one of the largest logistics centers in the country.
The expansion project, a large-scale undertaking, has increased the total area of the center to 23.5 hectares, an addition of 5 hectares. This growth has significantly boosted the operational capabilities of the center.
Six specialized chambers with a shelf storage system have been installed, maintaining a temperature range from -26°C to +5°C. This modern refrigeration equipment ensures the center can handle a significant volume of cargo, particularly perishable goods, with the utmost care.
The expansion has also seen the creation of a specialized platform for the inspection and search complex, aimed at speeding up customs control procedures. The capacity for working with railway containers has been increased threefold to 500 units, and the modern terminal platforms can now accommodate more than 400 units of heavy and light vehicles.
A new parking lot for 110 trucks has been created, further enhancing the logistics center's operational capabilities for handling cargo. The center's expansion is projected to increase the volume of handled cargo by 30%.
The ceremonial opening of the center was attended by notable figures, including the Chairman of the House of Representatives, GTC, Belarusian Railway, and RUP "Beltamozhservis" heads. The honor of opening the new transport and logistics center fell to Anatoly Ivanov, the head of the State Customs Committee in Belarus.
The expansion of Minsk-Beltamozhservis-2 continues to provide modern storage conditions for goods, ensuring the safety and integrity of the cargo it handles. The logistics center remains under the management of RUP "Beltamozhservis", ensuring continuity and efficiency in its operations.
With these expansions, Minsk-Beltamozhservis-2 solidifies its position as one of the largest logistics centers in Belarus, ready to meet the growing demands of the transportation and logistics industry.
